My background is science-related, gradually becoming interdisciplinary. My doctorate incorporated both science and poetry and was part-based at the Centre for Natural Design at Dundee Contemporary Arts. I am a part-time tutor in Postgraduate Medical Education at The University of Dundee. I have always been adamant that art and scientific disciplines go hand-in-hand and that creativity can be experienced in many contexts. I recently discovered clay as a medium and you can see some of my work on this website.
I have published four full poetry collections with Templar Poetry, Derbyshire. The most recent is As Mind Imagines World, 2018. Recently, my identical twin and I have been short stories writing together.
