This painting is now on display at the Butterfly Café in Dundee, 28-32 Commercial Street DD1 3EJ. It is a wonderfully colourful café and my painting looks spectacularly at home. It's a biggish painting, 150 x 96cm and I'd love to get commissions to paint others of this size...so do spread the word if you are reading this!

Quite a departure from my usual style, this soloist appeared as a ghostly presence and wouldn't be removed. I realise that it is great fun to use let the paint drip and see what essential elements remain.

I love the field of cowslips along Riverside in Dundee, where the highland cattle are grazing. This is one of the paintings i was demonstrating at Broughty Ferry Arts Society on Tuesday evening. I transported the contents of my summershouse to the Royal Tay Yacht Club and we had an inspirational time together!
